so apparently I attend the most violent school in Virginia

Duh, because you live in a metropolitan-growing city, also known as Virginia’s capital, where you have actual students and regular Richmond citizens living next door to each other. VCU was built into the city, not like other universities where the city was built around the campus. And considering the fact of how big the student body is and how many people walk all over campus grounds every day, it doesn’t surprise me of how many crimes have been committed at VCU because some of them don’t even involved VCU students or faculty, it just happens to occur on VCU property.

To all the new prospective students who are considering VCU and your concern is the campus crime rate, shouldn’t you be worrying about your academics and how VCU would be beneficial to you and your college career? You don’t have to take my word for it, but you should come to Richmond and see for yourself why people love VCU.
